History & Mission

Learning Alliances Company was formed in 1993 by Laura Cornille-Cannady and purchased by Shirley N. Stelbrink in January 2010. The company was initially created to meet the training and employee development needs of small to medium-sized organizations in the midwest. Over the years, LAC has grown to provide training, consulting and facilitation to assist individuals and organizations to meet their goals in a variety of competitive climates. LAC has also provided these skills and resources to all-sized organizations including developing small, medium and large organizations including Fortune 500 companies throughout the United States.

Learning Alliances Company is a network of diverse resources whose mission is to grow individuals and organizations through the design and delivery of customized training, facilitation and organizational consultation thereby creating learning and productive environments.

We will accomplish our mission by:
  • providing error-free and stress-free service to all customers
  • meeting customers where they currently are and moving them to an enhanced position
  • always taking a highly ethical approach to all business transactions
  • providing low-cost services in order to supply training to all sized organizations
  • understanding that learning is a continuous process which is greatly impacted systemically
